As an Arizona Native for 40 years, and a destination photographer, I love to travel around this rugged desert and hunt down gorgeous landscapes for my shoots. Finding the perfect location is key and I have been exploring this desert for a very long time.

This is why I spend so much time seeking out these special spots all over Arizona that truly are breathtaking. The Arizona desert has a lot to offer and it never disappoints.
It’s crazy how much the topography can change in Arizona just by driving 30 minutes outside of the valley. Arizona has some of the most diverse landscapes of all 50 states. There is literally no other state where you can travel from below sea level to over 12,000 feet in less than four hours.
